Everyone Is Saying The Same Thing After Video Of Baker Mayfield Dominating In Another Sport Goes Viral

Playing quarterback at a quality level in the NFL is hard enough as is, but Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Baker Mayfield has done just that for the better part of his six-year career.

If, for whatever reason, the first overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft decides to call it quits on the gridiron abruptly? Perhaps Mayfield will wish to go the Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson route and turn pro in a second sport.

New York Yankees MLB.com reporter Bryan Hoch posted a video of Mayfield participating in batting practice at the Pinstripes’ camp yesterday. The 28-year-old signal-caller made it look easy, crushing his fair share of pitches into the outfield:

 

 

The 2017 Heisman Trophy winner remains unsigned with the free agent period now just five days away. The Buccaneers are still widely regarded as the front-runners to end up with Mayfield, but the clock is ticking on getting a deal done before he can negotiate with other teams.

Mayfield is coming off a career year in which he completed 64.3 percent of his pass attempts for 4,044 yards and 28 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. He led the Bucs to a 9-win season which was good enough for their third straight NFC South division title.
