However, despite all the extra attention on Kelce this season, Mahomes insisted that the two-time Super Bowl winner is just as focused on his professional life as he is his personal.
The signal caller, who has developed a special relationship with Kelce on the field, hailed him as the ‘hardest working guy in the building’.
‘He’s handled it great. I think what I’ve always known about Travis is he loves to … follow his dreams outside the building,’ Mahomes said.
