David Beckham talked to Kylian Mbappe in the context that the PSG superstar has not yet decided on his future.

Kylian Mbappe is considering his next move, as the France captain’s contract at PSG expires in the summer. Recently, the owner of Inter Miami, David Beckham, flew to France to meet this star.

David Beckham met Kylian Mbappe at PSG’s training ground when the superstar was still uncertain about his future plans. Beckham was present to attend Thursday’s (January 11) NBA match between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers at Accor Arena. However, before going to the basketball match, Beckham stopped at PSG’s Camp des Loges training facility.

One of the first people he met was Mpappe. The France captain ran to hug Beckham before the duo had a short conversation. Beckham then watched the women’s team practice before meeting them and donating their shirts.

The former England captain also met PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi. He then went to Accor Arena to watch the NBA Paris match.

There, Beckham reunited with a host of A-list stars, including Brazilian icon Ronaldo, former NBA star Tony Parker, England Lionesses icon Leah Williamson and South African Rugby World Cup winning captain Siya Kolisi.

Mbappe’s contract expires in the summer transfer window, with the striker expected to join Real Madrid, although he insists his next destination is yet to be decided.

Mbappe said when winning the French Super Cup with PSG: “ First of all, I am very motivated for this year. That is very important. Like I said, we have titles to chase and we won one. However, I have not yet made a decision about the future.”

“We try to protect all parties and keep the club safe from the challenges ahead, which are the most difficult. My future is secondary. I think at the end of May every things will become clear.”

Beckham is assembling an all-star team at Inter Miami. Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez have all moved to the Florida team in the past year. However, it is unlikely that Mbappe will join them in the summer as the superstar wants to stay in Europe.

Beckham greatly admires Mbappe’s talent. The England star believes that Mbappe will be one of the dominant players in the long run. Beckham once played at Real Madrid, whether there will be any impact on Mbappe moving to the Bernabeu, those questions must wait for time to be answered.
