It might be September, but the song of summer just arrived thanks to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s new song “Bongos,” which was released on Friday, and the accompanying fashion-filled visuals.

In one particularly memorable scene from the sexy single’s music video, Cardi B twerks in a bikini made of braided red hair while Megan lounges by the beach in a red swimsuit and a feathered hat.

The vibrant, scantily-clad parade of ensembles styled by Kollin Carter made quite a splash on social media.

Folks on Twitter noticed the hairy moment and celebrated, “Y’all peep that Cardi’s bikini is fringed with BRAIDS?” tweeting, “And Cardi in this braid bikini???! BUNDLES.”

In another equally salacious scene, Cardi, 30, twerks atop a colorful couch while in a matching, plunging bodysuit and head wrap with a red visor.

Cardi shared a scene with Megan writhing on the beach in matching strappy red bikinis on Instagram and asked her followers, “Is everybody doing alright?”

“Everything is perfect. Every 👏🏽 effing 👏🏽 thing 👏🏽!!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥,” one fan responded while another said, “YES! EAT! SLAY! REPEAT!”

Even those who weren’t a fan of the song couldn’t deny that the music video was over-the-top and beautiful.

On Twitter, the response was more positive, especially to Cardi (born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) dropping it low in custom Carolin Holzhuber extra high heels made custom for the music video.

“Ok Bongos where Cardi is in those huge orange heels. Is she or is she not giving Fran Drescher / the nanny?” one Twitter user asked.
