Tamar Braxton Gets Engaged to ‘Queens Court’ Finalist JR Robinson

At the time of the finale episode of the Peacock reality dating series, Tamar Braxton got engaged to her finalist, lawyer Jeremy “JR” Robinson.

The show hosted by Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete, Queens Court features Braxton, vocalist Nivea and reality tv star Evelyn Lozada as they date 21 men vying to be their potential “kings.”

The series aired on Peacock Thursday, and in the series finale, JR proposed to Braxton, telling her, “I don’t wanna be your friend. I want to be your better half. I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. And I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?”Braxton said ‘YES’ to his marriage proposal and admits she’s “crazy” about JR.

“I can’t believe I finally got what I was looking for,” she says.The series ended 6 months ago; but, in a show update, it was came out that the duo is still going strong and are “busy planning their marriage!”

Earlier to the show airing, Braxton was spotted hand-in-hand with a mystery man (later identified as JR) as they attended the lawyer’s birthday celebration in Atlanta last year.

So it looks like they’ve been going strong.Braxton isn’t the only Queens Court star to discover her King. Thursday, Evelyn Lozada also announced her engagement to one of the show’s finalists, Lavon Lewis.Congrats to the duo!
