Travis Hunter suffered a lacerated kidney and set to miss at least three weeks because of the latehit.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is currently one of the most dominant defensive players in the league. He has been off to a great start in the 2023 season and is looking to win the Defensive Player of the Year award in the 2023 season. Amidst this, the linebacker has shared his opinion on the most controversial topic in the football world this week. Parsons called out Colorado State Rams defender Henry Blackburn for his dirty hit on Colorado Buffaloes’ star player Travis Hunter.

“That was so malicious and dirty,” Parsons said on his podcast “The Edge with Micah Parsons” via Bleacher Report. “I thought that guy should have gotten ejected. That was something you hate to see in football. The fact that he went around his own player and hit Travis Hunter. That is malicious intent and super dirty.”

Furthermore, All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons claimed that Henry Blackburn shouldn’t be allowed to play in any football league due to the malicious intent behind the blatant late hit.

“This guy should not be playing in any football league. At the end of the day, we are competing and we want to compete our best. But we need to protect our brothers man. This right here is not okay,” said Parsons.

Blackburn laid a heavy hit on Colorado’s two-way player Travis Hunter during the heated rivalry game between CU and CSU on the weekend. As a result of the late hit, Hunter suffered a lacerated kidney and will miss at least the next three weeks, according to Colorado’s head coach, Deion Sanders.

Blackburn’s late hit has been criticized by many people, and CSU’s head coach, Jay Norvell, recently revealed that the defensive back and his family have been getting death threats because of the hit. And now, one of the best defensive players in the NFL has given his judgment on the incident.
