The rap icon celebrated his 51st birthday on Tuesday and received messages from fellow emcees 50 Cent and Joyner Lucas
Crack a bottle for Eminem’s birthday!
The rap icon celebrated his 51st birthday on Tuesday, posting to X (formerly Twitter) the following day to thank fans for their commemorative posts and, in true Eminem fashion, deliver a joke.
“thanks 2 everyone for all of the bday wishes!!!” wrote Eminem. “suck it!!!!!”

The “Lose Yourself” performer received celebratory messages from multiple fellow emcees, including his longtime friend Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. “Happy Birthday to the living legend @Eminem,” wrote the “Candy Shop” performer on X (formerly Twitter), sharing several photos of the pair together. “love you to death man, God bless […] wishing you many more.”

Joyner Lucas, whom Eminem collaborated with on the 2018 single “Lucky You,” also took to the platform to mark the occasion. “He was the 1 rapper that I wanted approval from. Maybe it’s because musically he birthed my style and from age 13 this dude was like a god to me,” wrote the musician.
“Marshall Happy birthday and thank you for your contributions to both the game AND my life,” continued Lucas, writing alongside a clip from the “Lucky You” music video.
Earlier this month, Eminem was spotted on a rare public outing with daughter Hailie Jade Scott to see the a football match between the Detroit Lions and the Carolina Panthers at Ford Field in the father-daughter duo’s Michigan home state.
The “Mockingbird” rapper shared a photo of himself at the game that featured him flexing his arm muscles from inside his suite, and also posted a video of him cheering on the team set to his 2002 hit “Lose Yourself.” In the video, Eminem leans over in his seat at one point to chat with Scott, 27.
“Detroit strong!!! 💪💪💪🦁🦁🦁let’s f—in gooooo!!!!” he captioned the post.
Scott, meanwhile, shared moments from the game to her own Instagram feed, including a solo shot of her standing in a Lions hat with the field in the background.

The Just a Little Shady podcast host, whom Eminem shares with ex-wife Kim Mathers, also posted video of her fiancé Evan McClintock waving a Lions flag — and poked fun at a recent viral Taylor Swift moment in her caption.
“football, family & seemingly ranch 🏈,” Scott captioned the post, referring to a photo of Swift in Travis Kelce’s suite at the Sept. 24 Kansas City Chiefs game, in which she was posing with a plate of chicken tenders and two sauces. A popular X (formerly Twitter) account called @tswifterastour re-shared the photo with the caption, “Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!”
The outing marked a rare public appearance for Eminem, who still lives in his native Detroit. In July, he joined Ed Sheeran onstage for a surprise performance of “Lose Yourself” and “Stan,” and last month, did the same with 50 Cent during his tour stop in Detroit.
Scott — who is mentioned nearly two dozen times in her dad’s songs — attended the 50 Cent show, and said on her podcast that she was “so freaking happy” to hear the “In Da Club” rapper perform.
“I have not seen him perform since, like, I seriously think it was like the sixth grade,” she said. “It’s been so long.”
