The Chiefs’ QB is playing in a league of giants like Tom Brady, Mathew Stafford and Russel Wilson. Most of the star players with higher incomes have invested generously in real estate.

They have particularly purchased a lot of houses along the way. Patrick Mahomes will soon be catching up to the other players in the NFL who are holding expansive real estate portfolios.

Tom Brady, Mathew Stafford and Russel Wilson are high-net-worth individuals who have managed to acquire sizable properties for their real estate portfolio. Compared to them, Mahomes is just beginning to expand his portfolio which contains four homes to date. The Chiefs’ QB purchased all his current houses that belonged to the lower end of the price range.

The 27-year-old QB is a married man with two kids. Three of his houses are located in Missouri and the fourth one is in Texas. Mahomes purchased the Westlake, Texas house in 2020 from former San Diego Chargers football player, Andrew Gissinger III. The house was valued at $4.26 million but Mahomes ended up buying it for $3.37 million. However, the house is estimated to be worth $5.5 million today. The Westlake property is the most expensive house the Chiefs’ QB has invested in.

Mahomes’ Missouri homes are valued at $350,000 and $1.8 million. His Texas home, which is his latest, was constructed in 2021. He bought the land in 2020 at the cost of $400,000.

Notably, Tom Brady, Mathew Stafford and Russel Wilson are high earners with their real estate portfolio that consists of some real head turners.

Starting with Russel Wilson, he and his wife bought a house for $25 million in Denver last year, their most recent purchase. The couple acquired one of the most expensive houses in the Denver area’s history. Otherwise, the couple owns houses in Washington, California and Atlanta.

Mathew Stafford from the Rams has purchased houses in Michigan, Newport, California and Los Angeles. He lives with his wife and two kids. Their last purchase in California came at $20 million. It was a massive mansion that covers an area of 15,000 sq. ft.

Now coming to the NFL Goat, Brady is in a league of his own. He has managed to sell a slew of properties for a reported profit of $30 million. Moreover, he has amassed properties in Miami, New York, Montana and Costa Rica. Some of his houses were purchased around the $20 million price tag. As part-time real-estate moguls, Brady and his ex-wife Giselle Bundchen have sold properties for upwards of $30 million.

Even though Patrick Mahomes is moving slowly and carefully, he is definitely on the right track. He is a highly valued player on an expensive contract with the Chiefs. Ideally, the QB would want to expand his investments in the next ten years. It is going to take time and some smart decisions to build his real-estate portfolio.
