MADONNA has enraged fans after allegedly asking a wheelchair-bound concertgoer to stand up at a recent performance.

The cringe-inducing clip swirled around social media, with the internet hung up on the megastar’s momentary slip-up.

Madonna, 65, addressed the crowd during her Celebration tour at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Thursday.

In the clip viewed over one million times on X [seen above], she noticed the person seated in the audience.

She said, pointing to them: “What are you doing sitting down over there?”

She then appeared to ask the fan, “What are you getting sitting down?”

Seemingly unable to hear their response, Madonna went closer to the edge of the stage when she realized the fan used a wheelchair.

“Oh, okay,” she admitted. “Politically incorrect. Sorry about that.”

“I’m glad you’re here,” Madonna added before resuming her position at the center of the stage to get into the next song.

‘RUDE!’

Fans got ahold of the now-viral moment criticizing Madge for disrespecting the poor attendee.

One X user replied, “Must’ve been so embarrassing,” with a crying emoji.

“At her age, she should have known better than to do this,” wrote another.

“Disability is not always evident. It shouldn’t matter if they were in a wheelchair or not,” a third fan argued.

“That is exactly why performers shouldn’t concern themselves with if someone is sitting or not,” another fan echoed.

A fifth defended: “At least she had the decency to apologize and be sweet about it?? what do y’all want?”

A sixth wrote, “Does it matter if they’re sitting or standing? They paid for the ticket and took the time to be there. Isn’t that enough?”

“This is beyond sick yet so funny,” wrote a seventh.

Over on Reddit, a user wrote, ‘Even if that person wasn’t in a wheelchair, maybe just having bad knees or whatever, how it is that anybody’s business?’

Another person chimed in, saying, “Girl, bye. People are paying good money to see you, don’t disrespect them like that.”

“They probably paid good money for their seats too. So rude,” another person wrote.

Other concertgoers on social media empathized with times they were injured before a concert or couldn’t stand.

One TikTok user wrote, ‘I was injured just before a concert last year and the guitarist kept gesturing to me, making faces, and flipped me off for sitting. Singer also complained… I had wanted to see him for years.”

Another user said, “I went to a concert a couple of months after going through surgery and chemo and couldn’t stand the whole time. I would’ve been mortified to be called out like this.”

ICONIC DUO!

Thursday’s show did have a sweet surprise, however, as Madonna brought out Kylie Minogue, and they performed together for the first time ever.

They performed acoustic versions of I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor and Kylie’s own hit Can’t Get You Out of MY Head.

Rushing to social media to comment on the iconic moment, one fan wrote: “No better way to celebrate #InternationalWomensDay than these 2 Queens linking up to perform this classic anthem. This is history.”

And another said: “Kylie came out and did a duet with Madonna. What the f***.”

While it’s the first time they’ve duetted, Kylie and Madonna have always been supportive of each other.

In 2000 Madonna wore a ‘Kylie’ branded T-shirt when she performed at the MTV Europe Music Awards.

And when Madonna was rushed to hospital with a severe bacterial infection last year, Kylie sent her well-wishes.

She told E! News: “I feel for her. I feel for everyone touring, but especially women touring.

“I think it’s just that bit more work for us and it is so taxing on you as a whole. I will definitely be getting my ticket and going to see Madonna when she gets back on the road.”

Fans reacted to the moment: 'This is beyond sick yet so funny,' and 'At her age, she should have known better than to do this'
