Update Injuries

We provide the latest update on injuries and return timelines for key NBA players like Steph Curry and Tyrese Maxey.

STEPH CURRY

Steph Curry sprained his ankle against the Bulls last week and has missed two games because of it.

Both games have been against the Spurs and the guard will be evaluated on Tuesday, according to the Warriors latest update.

Although, after the Warriors’  112-102 road victory  win against the Spurs on Monday, coach Steve Kerr said he doesn’t expect Steph to play in Dallas.

Steph suffered no structural damage, and is keen to get back on the court, judging by his latest Instagram story.

TYRESE MAXEY

76ers star Tyrese Maxey has been out for four straight games after suffering a concussion last Sunday.

He will make his return against the Knicks in New York on Tuesday after clearing the NBA’s concussion protocol, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski in an update on Monday.

Maxey suffered the concussion in a win against Dallas when he hit his head against Derrick Jones Jr.s’ knee.

SADDIQ BEY

Hawks forward Saddiq Bey will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee, Atlanta announced on Monday.

He was injured in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 116-103 loss to the Pelicans.

With 10:41 in the fourth quarter, Bey slid onto the floor in pain after stopping short and getting fouled.

He made one of two free throws before heading to the locker room with a limp.

The Hawks roster will be thinned out even further, since one of their leading point scorers Trae Young is recovering from hand surgery.

OG ANUNOBY

Knicks wing OG Anunoby has been out for a month and a half with an elbow injury, but “is close” to making a return, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.

In the 18 games that Anunoby missed, New York has gone just 8-10, so his return will certainly be welcomed.

Since Anunoby was traded to NY, the Knicks were 12-2.
