Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo was once again teased by Lionel Messi’s name when the spectators chanted his rival’s name during the Al Nassr vs Al-Raed match on Thursday, Daily Mail reported.

In videos circulating online, a frustrated Ronaldo can be seen shaking his head and walking out of the stadium as the crowds chanted “Messi, Messi.”

This is not the first incident where the footballer has been targeted with the rival player’s name.

The Portuguese player was suspended from playing in one match in the Saudi Pro League and charged a fine of 10,000 riyals after he made obscene gestures toward fans chanting Messi’s name during the Al-Nassr vs Al Shabab match.

Al Nassr lost to Al Raed, by 3-1 in Riyadh, pushing them nine points behind Al-Hilal in Saudi Pro League. They have never won an AFC Champions League title.

Ronaldo was unable to score a single goal in 90 minutes of the match.

Ronaldo who joined Al-Nassr in 2022 has reportedly signed the contract till the summer of 2025.

His transfer from Manchester United to Al-Nassr is one of the most expensive in Football history, he reportedly gets paid $200,000 million annually.
