Stephen Curry celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday. Amidst the Golden State Warriors superstar’s birthday festivities, his wife, Ayesha Curry, shared a video of her husband which lit up the internet.
Stephen Curry often resorts to humor when on the basketball court. It seems humor is a part of the superstar’s character, as is evident in the Instagram reel shared by his wife on the morning of his birthday.
“It’s your birthdaaay…… How does it feel to be 36?”
Ayesha said while moved moving toward her husband
To this Stephen Curry replied by acting like an old man.
I'm just trying to eat my tomatoes.Steph said in a shaky voice
This hilarious impression sent both the Currys in splits.
Stephen Curry has often taken humor in his stride while showing out with his elite skills on the basketball court. He has often come up with meme-worthy acts. His ‘night night’ trolling celebration is now used to describe his dominating performances on the court, amongst others.
Recently he added the golf swing to celebrate his clutch performances in games. But this birthday celebration act of humor is the new banger which is sure to be recalled multiple times in the coming years. And it won’t be long before this becomes a new meme. Fans might use it against older players who are showing their age while playing.
Stephen Curry and his Hall of Fame career continuing at age 36
Stephen Curry is playing in his 15th season in the NBA. And even now, he is currently 9th best in the league in point per game. The Warriors are dependent on Curry to lead their offense. Most of the plays are designed keeping his unreal ability to score in mind. Curry has led the Warriors to 4 NBA titles in the past 9 years.
His clutch performances and ability to score from anywhere on the court has elevated his stature as one of the best to ever play the game. Curry is already the all-time leading 3-point scorer in league history. Many believe that Curry’s ability to score has changed the way the NBA plays basketball nowadays. Consequently, some consider him one of the greatest guards ever.
With his exploits throughout his career, Curry has deserved to showcase his humor to the basketball world. As is seen in his celebrations, the superstar trolls himself on his 36th birthday by acting like an old man.
