“The most toxic feminist that’s ever existed,” in the words of Daily Wire presenter Candace Owens, is Taylor Swift.
The announcement was made on Tuesday during a Daily Wire+ event. It even caught fellow Daily Wire anchor Matt Walsh off guard—he is most renowned for the contentious documentary What Is a Woman?

Owens spoke with Walsh, Ben Shapiro, Andrew Klavan, Michael Knowles, and Jeremy Boreing about a variety of subjects, including Taylor Swift. Swift’s penchant to write songs about her ex-boyfriends and her public struggle to reclaim her music rights from music entrepreneur Scooter Braun—who acquired a catalog of the singer’s work after acquiring Big Machine Label Group in 2019—were two of the ways Owens quickly made it apparent how little she thought of Swift. She is obviously very mad if you consider what she has ever accomplished in the business world and how she attempts to influence her audiences in order to back out of agreements and contracts. Owens declared, “She’s the most toxic feminist in history.
Swift’s songs about her breakups were deemed “psychotic” by her, and she wrote off her current romance with Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs as a “business move.”

“I essentially concur with all of your observations regarding Taylor Swift. She is quite bad. To laughter, he remarked, “I think calling her the most toxic feminist ever is quite a statement.” That’s a high standard.
Rather than just ignoring or denouncing Swift, Walsh has urged conservatives to counter-program it with their own cultural offerings. According to him, some of Swift’s detractors really work in her favor by increasing her relevance to those who otherwise would not be aware of her.

She has also had disagreements with Ben Shapiro, the head of the Daily Wire, about her stances on the Israel-Hamas conflict; Shapiro is an ardent supporter of Israel’s effort to destroy Hamas. In November, he urged her to “by all means” leave the company after she labeled him “emotionally insane” and he chastised her on the matter.
