Macaulay Culkin has officially joined the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame.

During a heartwarming and emotional ceremony on Friday (December 1), the 43-year-old Home Alone star was finally recognized for his contributions to the entertainment industry.

Several special guests attended the event, including Culkin’s former co-stars Catherine O’Hara and Natasha Lyonne.

Others who attended the ceremony were Culkin’s young sons and his fiancée – with many fans only just learning that she is also a famous star in her own right.

Yes, it appears that some people are only just learning that Culkin is in a relationship with 34-year-old actress Brenda Song – who was photographed at the event holding their two sons while Culkin delivered a heartwarming speech.

“I’d like to thank Brenda. You’re absolutely everything,” he said while standing at the podium. “You’re the best person I’ve ever known. And after the birth of our two boys, you’ve become one of my three favorite people.”

Following roles in shows like Frazier and q00 Deeds for Eddie McDowd, Song quickly became a household name thanks to her role as the wealthy and lovable London Tipton in the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. S

he would also appear in its spin-off The Suite Life on Deck.

Further into her career, Song showcased her range with roles in acclaimed movies like The Social Network and TV projects such as Scandal and New Girl.

But despite both actors being internationally renowned, it would seem that a lot of people were never aware of their romantic connection – and took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their surprise.

“I’m today years old when I found out Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are together,” one person tweeted, with a second adding: “Today was the day that I learned Macaulay Culkin was even Brenda Song are together and have a baby.”

A third person added: “Sooooo. Am I the only one who didn’t know Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song are a thing?!?!?!!”

The two former child stars first started dating while filming Seth Green’s comedy-drama Changeland.

The reason many of their fans are probably unaware of their relationship is because they have continued to keep it very private on social media.

What we do know is that they welcomed their first son – Dakota Song Culkin – on April 5, 2021, and their infant son earlier this year. They also became engaged in 2022.

Last year, Song opened up about the couple’s parenting style in an interview with The Cut.

“My fiancé and I are very hands-on,” Song told the publication. “We don’t have a nanny, but my mom has been here with us since my son was born… When I was working, my mom would bring [my son] to set so I could breastfeed and see him during the day.

People tell you a lot about labor and pregnancy, but not about the fourth trimester,” Song told the outlet.

“To my girlfriends that are pregnant I say, make sure you have help. Because your instinct is to want to do it all and you physically can’t.”
