It is becoming increasingly clear that Brandon Aiyuk wants out of San Francisco since he cannot get the contract that he wants.

The Jacksonville Jaguars were reportedly interested in trading for star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk but the San Francisco 49ers reportedly had a high asking price.

Now it seems that Brandon Aiyuk is taking matters into his own hands.

The disgruntled wide receiver took to X, formally Twitter, and sent a message to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

Aiyuk stated that people were saying they were twins and asked him what he thought about that while adding a set of emoji eyes.

The 26-year-old star wide receiver is entering the final year of his current contract and the 49ers would love to unload him this offseason before he hits free agency next offseason.

Should a trade happen, the Steelers would take on his $14 million salary this season, but would also be expected to sign him to a long-term deal if they did make a move for the wideout.

Last season, Aiyuk earned a whopping 1,342 yards and 7 touchdowns on an outrageous 12.8 yards per target, per Pro Football Reference.

The Pittsburgh Steelers Are Reportedly Exploring Brandon Aiyuk Trade

The wave of Pittsburgh Steelers free agency rumors continued this week as Brandon Aiyuk could be on the move and the Steelers are rumored to have interest.

When the Pittsburgh Steelers traded Diontae Johnson, it opened up a need for the team at wide receiver. Because Brandon Aiyuk is still under contract, the Steelers would have to execute a sign-and-trade deal.
