Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour has left a significant impact on Singapore’s economy, projected to boost it by over $225 million. With six sold-out concerts in the city-state alone, the 34-year-old singer’s performances have generated substantial revenue and economic activity.

According to DBS Bank Ltd. economist Han Teng Chua, Swift’s concerts have not only attracted local fans but also a large number of overseas attendees, resulting in increased spending on hospitality, food, beverage, and retail activities. Swift’s performances are estimated to add 0.2 percentage points to Singapore’s GDP in the first quarter alone. While the city-state’s trade-reliant economy remains fragile, economists believe that growth will pick up more sustainably from the second half of the year, thanks in part to Swift’s tour.
