The first trailer for Nicola Peltz Beckham’s directorial debut film Lola is finally here, and no one could be prouder than the actress’ husband Brooklyn.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the eldest Beckham son, 24, shared the trailer as he gushed over his lingerie-clad wife in the upcoming drama.
Nicola, 28, plays leading star 19-year-old Lola in the film, and has also both directed and written the project.
In one shot the star shoots a sultry gaze at her on-screen boyfriend as she dons a lacy plunging pink top.
Complimenting his wife, Brooklyn wrote: ‘Wow I can’t believe it’s finally here x you have worked so hard on this and I could not be more proud of you xx.

Brooklyn also posted the trailer on his grid, captioning the clip: ‘I am soooo proud of you x can’t wait for everyone to see Lola ❤️❤️ love you baby girl xx.’
Accompanied by Stephen Sanchez’s hit Until I Found You, the trailer begins with Nicola’s character swimming with her younger brother.
She begins: ‘I am the person I am today because of the people that helped me and the people that hurt me.’
Looking world’s away from her usual brunette appearance, Nicola sports a choppy blonde bob for the film as she hangs out her friends car with a cigarette hanging from her lips.
The trailer then dives into the film’s dramatic plot which sees Lola desperately working to save enough money to get her little brother, Arlo out of their toxic home dominated by their mother, Mona.
Arlo, who is played by Luke David Blumm, faces abuse from the pairs mother who reprimands the child for wearing makeup and dressing feminine as she brands him a ‘little f****t’.
After promising Arlo: ‘I love you so much. I’m gonna get you out of here. I promise,’ things take an unexpected turn when Lola finds out she is expecting a baby with her troublesome boyfriend.

Scheduled to hit cinemas on February 9, the film also stars Richie Merritt, Raven Goodwin and Nicola’s brother Will Peltz.
Lola has been six years in the making, and in an official trailer release, Nicola said: ‘It is thrilling beyond measure to finally be sharing this story with audiences.’
She continued: ‘Despite a life of hardship, abuse and generational trauma, Lola is a fighter — driven by unconditional love and a refusal to submit to the unsatisfactory future that has been forced upon her.
‘It’s a heartfelt story that we hope everyone can relate to and hopefully feel inspired by in some way.’
Taking to her Instagram, she wrote: ‘thank you so much to this amazing cast and crew. Lola out February 9th’.
