“He was a little lighthearted, like me,” Woods said.

“[Charlie] used my lines very well against me. Many times I get frustrated and annoyed because he turns his back on me. But that’s the good side of it. We are very happy with it.”

“Like all kids, they go from one thing to another. Right now, he’s passionate about golf. But who knows, it could turn to something else. As long as he’s happy, he’s proud I’m excited about any sport I participate in.

“Charlie had started playing golf, things had allowed us to play more golf and be together, and we started playing a lot, and he started to feel uncomfortable with golf, and so did I. So.

“It keeps me competitive, keeps me involved when we don’t have any tournaments. But I have a tournament every day with him, and it’s fun. It’s like I grew up with That’s my dad.”

He added: “We’re still preparing, still ready, still trying to peak for that event. We just want to go out there, have fun and compete.”
