Charlie Woods is swinging it exactly like Rory McIlroy, and Tiger Woods reveals why he has asked him to do just that…

Tiger Woods tells Charlie Woods: "Don't copy me, copy Rory McIlroy!"

Charlie Woods has drawn comparisons to Rory McIlroy’s incredible golf swing, and Tiger Woods has revealed that it’s exactly the player he wants his 15-year-old son to copy to take his game to a new level.

Tiger Woods has spoken openly about a number of different topics, such as his goal of another win on the PGA Tour, as well as another major championship.

The former world No. 1 also spoke highly of his son, Charlie, who compared his golf swing to McIlroy’s.

It’s all part of Team Woods’ plan.

“I told him [Charlie], don’t copy my shot, copy Rory’s shot,” Woods said.

When NBC posted a side-by-side video of Tiger and Charlie’s golf swing, Woods said: “I don’t move like that anymore, but Rory does.

“Have you ever seen Rory lose his balance during a shot? No. Never. That’s one of the things my dad instilled in me. You have to be able to keep your balance and hold your shot.” until the ball rolls and stops.

“You can swing as hard as you want, but you need to keep your balance.”
